Thomas is a partner and head of Oliver Wyman’s Transportation and Advanced Industrials Practice in Europe.
He has previously led the firm’s Automotive, Manufacturing, and Operations Practice in the Americas, and is now based in Munich.

Thomas’ focus is on industrial clients, where he has 35 years of experience consulting clients in a wide variety of sectors, including aerospace and defense, automotive, component manufacturers, electronics, engineering, industrial automation, and machinery.
As a member of the Turnaround and Restructuring Practice, he also has significant experience in assisting with comprehensive transformational efforts, including turnaround and restructuring, post-merger integration, performance improvement, and overall value creation.
Thomas holds a diploma in business administration from the University of Cologne and is fluent in German, English, and French.
Outside of work, Thomas is a passionate sailor, skier and fan of the opera.
