Thierry, who heads our Europe Aerospace and Defense practice out of Paris, is a highly skilled expert with over three decades of hands-on experience, as both an industry executive for 20 years and as a consultant in the sector over the past 14 years. As a trusted advisor, Thierry assists board members and Chief Executive Officers of large international top-tier clients and their suppliers as well as private equity firms to fix underperforming situations in most of the aerospace and defense segments, including air, space, land, and naval.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Thierry was a Senior Partner with two major international strategy consulting firms for over 14 years, where he was deeply involved in various high-impact aerospace and defense projects, including restructuring projects delivered in a hands-on way.
He started his career at Dassault Aviation where he worked for 20 years in various executive positions. He was responsible for the development of the Air-Air MICA weapon system, Program Director for the Rafale Program, Deputy Vice President of External Relations & Communications, and Vice President, Aircraft Systems purchasing for business jets and military aircraft.
Thierry holds a degree in engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées and an MBA from HEC. He is a member of ARE (Restructuring) Associations and of the Centre d’Etude et Prospective Stratégique (CEPS), the strategic think tank.
