Seo is a partner, based in our Tokyo office. He also serves as the lead of our Banking and Financial Services Practice in the Asia Pacific.

With over two decades of experience in consulting and financial services, Seo has advised leading financial institutions, corporations, governments, and social impact organizations worldwide on topics including strategy, finance and risk, operations, and digital transformation.

Throughout his long career at Oliver Wyman, Seo has been fortunate to receive incredible support and guidance from his colleagues. As a way to give back, he is committed to developing and nurturing the next generation of leaders in the firm.
Seo earned a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. Outside of work, he has recently picked up Jo-jutsu, which he describes as both an intense and calming experience. An old Japanese martial art that utilizes a wooden stick, Jo-jutsu was initially mastered by peasants who were not allowed to carry swords for protection.
