Ramy Farha is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Finance and Risk and Public Policy practices, based in Toronto. Ramy co-leads the development of the Oliver Wyman cyber risk quantification approach and is a key contributor to the development of the Oliver Wyman cyber risk offering.
Ramy has extensive experience consulting to leading financial services institutions in North America, focusing on risk management issues, particularly on non-financial risks such as operational risk and cyber / information security risks. His recent work has focused on non-financial risk stress testing and measurement, including the leveraging of structured scenario analysis for quantification of cyber and information security risks and the development of statistical techniques for measurement of tail non-financial risk exposures. Ramy co-leads our North America non-financial risk intellectual capital development initiative and is a regular speaker at industry conferences.
Ramy holds a B.Eng. degree from the American University of Beirut and an M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. He is fluent in French.
