Rama is a partner in the Australian Insurance Practice, based in Sydney. He is an experienced senior advisor with nearly 20 years in strategy and business transformation across Australia, UK, Europe and Africa.
Rama has deep expertise in General Insurance having worked with numerous large global and domestic insurers on their most pressing strategic issues. He specialises in a range of topics including growth and profit improvement, modernisation of go-to-market capabilities and operating models, delivery of large-scale transformation programs, M&A and formulation of effective responses to regulatory reforms.
I am a firm believer in ‘capability-led strategy’ whereby organisations identify and invest in the capabilities to help them deliver their strategy successfully. Without this, strategy is merely a PowerPoint presentation
To complement his consulting experience, Rama held multiple strategy roles at a global bank headquartered in London for nearly four years from 2007. During this time he defined and delivered multiple growth and optimisation initiatives for UK, Europe and Group operations. Through this experience, Rama has gained an intimate understanding of how to navigate large, complex, multi-stakeholder organisations to effect tangible outcomes.
Rama holds an MBA from London Business School. He is a avid photographer, as well as a keen follower of Cricket and Rugby Union.
