With more than 18 years of consulting experience, Rainer has worked extensively with financial services clients and supervisory authorities on risk management, quantitative analytics, and regulatory topics. This provides him with unique insights and experience in the practical implementation of advanced analytics and AI, including organizational, operational, supervisory, and risk aspects.
Outside of work, Rainer stays updated on the latest academic research (such as, quantum computing, and mathematical foundations of AI), delivers lectures at universities, and enjoys outdoor activities such as long runs or motorcycle rides.
