Rachel is a partner in our Aerospace, Defense and Government Services and Private Capital Practices, based in Washington DC.
She advises leading government services companies and financial sponsors on strategy and transformation topics, including growth strategy, mergers and acquisition (M&A) due diligence, go-to-market support, and organizational and operational issues.
Rachel’s interest in government began during her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St Louis, where she majored in International Relations. After joining consulting, she discovered the impact of the private sector on government effectiveness. At Oliver Wyman, Rachel helps companies bring innovation to their government clients through citizen services delivery and new technology solutions.
Industry has a unique role to play in enabling — if not driving — government transformation across programs which touch millions of lives and serve critical national security functions
Doing business with the government can be challenging, requiring different sales approaches, back-office systems, cost structures, and ways of working. Rachel helps companies navigate these challenges to drive mission and financial impact. She has led industry-shaping M&A transactions, strategy resets, and operational improvement efforts.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her daughter and dog, both toddlers. She also loves running, cooking, and dining at local DC restaurants with her husband.
