Pedro has led multibillion-dollar initiatives across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations — including the creation of a $40 billion transformation office for a leading national oil company. His work spans production strategies, well construction, supply chain optimization, capital efficiency, and end-to-end energy transition planning. He is also a recognized expert in integrating AI-driven solutions into traditional industrial settings, having developed predictive analytics platforms, digital twins, and real-time operations centers that have delivered up to 50% cost reductions while enhancing safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Known for his ability to bridge technical complexity with strategic clarity, Pedro partners with leadership teams to design and implement resilient, future-ready operating models. His advisory work has supported the launch of entire gas business units, the development of sustainability roadmaps, and the redesign of operating models for both national and international oil companies to support next-generation, low-carbon operations.
Pedro holds an MBA from IE Business School, a master’s in petroleum engineering from the University of Alberta, a dual bachelor’s degree in chemical and petroleum engineering, and has completed sustainability studies at MIT. This multidisciplinary background enables him to address industry challenges across operations, finance, technology, and environmental stewardship.
Outside of work, Pedro is an avid drummer and music enthusiast who enjoys traveling the world with his family to attend live music events. He also supports several innovation-focused initiatives and start-ups that bring cutting-edge solutions to sectors often overlooked by mainstream tech.
