With his expertise across the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) lifecycle and as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Matthew offers a unique ability to support his clients throughout the transaction, from pre-deal to post-deal transformation.
Having worked across various industries and global markets, Matthew and his team strive to understand the market, identify growth levers within the business, and translate those insights into support for post-deal transformation engagements.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Matthew specialized in providing accounting and financial due diligence advisory services. He led buy and sell-side transactions for private equity firms, pension funds, and strategic buyers, with enterprise values reaching up to $40 billion. His focus industries included retail, industrial, and manufacturing, among others.
Matthew holds an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Outside of work, he enjoys being outdoors. Whether competing in triathlons, getting out on a basketball and tennis court, or hitting the links for a round of golf, Matthew sees getting active as a way of enjoying life to the fullest.
