João is a partner in the Berlin office. During his time at Oliver Wyman, he has worked on a diverse range of topics involving growth strategy, commercial effectiveness, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligences in the Wealth and Asset Management and Fintech spaces for clients across Europe, Asia, as well as North and Latin America.
Clients benefit from his skill and ability to quickly assess strategic models and options, as well as to diagnose and design solutions in the face of challenging strategic reviews to enable better decision making.
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, João worked as an mergers and acquisitions banker for an investment bank in Frankfurt. He holds a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management and has also studied Finance, Economics and Public Policy at Sciences Po in Paris, as well as the PUC Rio de Janeiro. He is fluent in German, Portuguese, and English.
Originally from Westfalen in Germany, João has Portuguese family roots and carries a strong passion for Brazilian music. His interests include spending time with his wife and friends, football and running, improving his cooking skills, and dining out.
