Edward is a partner in our Finance and Risk Practice, based in Sydney.

Ed has close to 20 years’ experience working in Financial Services globally and specializes in banking-related topics with a focus on risk management, credit portfolio and balance sheet management, governance, and culture. Ed’s experience also spans into digitalisation of financial services and how these changes are impacting the banks, insurers, and regulators.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Ed was at Westpac in Sydney in roles spanning Westpac Institutional Bank and Group Risk where he built up a wealth of experience in portfolio and risk management. Before joining Westpac in Sydney, Ed held roles in London and the US including Head of EMEA for insurance specialist Barrie & Hibbert, and senior roles at Moody’s Analytics and KMV.

A patriotic New Zealander, Ed has a passion for skiing, mountain biking, and all things outdoors.
