Dylan Strother is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s New York Office.

Dylan leads various types of modeling and valuation projects and is an experienced modeler with many actuarial systems. He is deeply rooted in Statutory and GAAP financial reporting and valuation, especially emerging areas in the US such as PBR and LDTI. He frequently assists clients with the modeling challenges these new regulations bring to the table.

Dylan is especially active with Life PBR projects and is one of the team leads supporting the analysis and develop of insights for the VM-20 YRT field test. He routinely volunteers for PBR related initiatives, such as the PBA Projections Practice Note Work Group. He also frequently speaks and writes articles on the subject. Dylan is the firm lead with respect to PolySystems and prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Dylan was a Vice President within the Consulting Services at PolySystems.

Dylan is a frequent speaker at industry meetings, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Dylan moved to New York in 2019 with his wife and is originally from the East Coast.
