I have always been attracted to big, complicated, and expensive machines that move. Of course, maintaining these expensive assets can be equally complicated and expensive, with everyone’s goal being to increase operational up-time
Derek has worked primarily in the aviation field (airline and aftermarket services to airlines) and surface transportation. Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, he worked at American Airlines, Ernst and Young LLP, and the Hackett Group. He holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a BS in civil engineering from the University of Florida.

We have been very successful both improving service and transforming the maintenance cost base and have a proven methodologies and an ultra-talented team to drive lasting change
