Anders is a managing partner at Oliver Wyman, based in New York, and serves as the global head of banking and financial services.
Prior to this, Anders played a key role in the launch of Oliver Wyman Digital and led the group’s evolution, guiding its digital innovation and transformation advisory business as well as overseeing its data science, technical design and delivery capabilities. He also served as the head of the New York office from 2014 to 2017.
His background is in financial services, where he advises executives and directors on matters of strategy, risk, capital management, and regulation. Since joining the firm in 2006, he has worked with a wide range of financial institutions in the US and globally on a broad set of topics, including large-scale bank transformations, risk management, capital, and balance sheet management programs, as well as top-of-house strategy and organizational effectiveness.
Anders is a member of Oliver Wyman’s Global Leadership Team and its Global Operating Committee. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Museum of American Finance. Anders holds a M.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, as well as a M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology.
