Ziad is the Head of the Qatar market at Oliver Wyman, and a partner in the Energy and Natural Resources practice. He brings over 20 years of experience consulting for environment, energy, and utility companies in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Pacific region - with a particular focus on sustainable development.
Working with a large team of partners and consultants, Ziad has spent his career advising governments and corporates on strategic, organizational and regulatory challenges and opportunities. Highly analytical and an adept problem solver, he is a strategic thinker with a knack for cutting straight to the core of complex challenges.

Passionate about sustainability, Ziad brings a unique perspective to the business. Most recently he’s made an impact at a regional level, collaborating with key stakeholders to align national leadership on the development of national environmental strategies and help them set a roadmap for a greener, more sustainable future.
Ziad holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer & Communication Engineering from the American University of Beirut. A gifted communicator, Ziad is fluent in English, Arabic, French and Italian. Over the years, his language skills have stood him in good stead, as prior to joining Oliver Wyman, he worked for General Electric in France as a Project Director, as well as for other consulting firms.
