Richard is a manager at Innopay, a business of Oliver Wyman, focusing on strategy, transformation, and innovation across data sharing, payments, and digital identity in Europe.
He has extensive experience leading multistakeholder programs that align incentives, establish governance, and deliver measurable outcomes for clients in the financial services industry and beyond. Richard uses his expertise in data and sustainability to drive industrial decarbonization, speed up the transition to a circular economy and improve energy data exchange.

Richard holds an MSc in business informatics, graduating cum laude from Utrecht University. His thesis led to publications in ICT & Health and the Journal of Applied Sciences. He also earned a BSc in information science and completed an exchange program at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Outside of work, Richard is a long-distance runner and former national-level judo competitor. He is passionate about sustainability and the energy transition, and serves as the European lead of the Green Champions at Oliver Wyman.
